Valpolicella DOC by Tommasi
This red wine from Veneto Valpolicella announces itself from the very beginning as a label with a young and breezy character, ideal to be enjoyed in the company of friends on more informal occasions. A bottle where aromas and flavors are easy to understand, fragrant, and benefit from a refinement carried out only in steel that keeps intact the primary characters of the native grapes used.
This Valpolicella Tommasi originates from a blend of native red berried grapes grown in its own vineyards, including within the Valpolicella for a total area of 27 hectares. The blend is composed as follows: Corvina 60%, Rondinella 30% and Molinara for the remaining 10%. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments in stainless steel containers for 12 days, and again in steel, the wine then remains to refine and stabilize for 4 months. At the end of this rapid maturation, the product is ready to be bottled and marketed.
The Valpolicella red wine made by the Tommasi winery reveals itself to the eye with a hue that recalls the color of ruby, not too marked. The range of sensations and aromas that envelop the nose recalls crunchy notes of freshly picked red fruit, also embellished with more floral notes, which peek out towards the end of the olfactory examination. In the mouth it is light-bodied, agile and dynamic, with a sip that attacks the palate with freshness and smoothness. A label that is made even more attractive thanks to the very interesting quality-price ratio.
