These terms govern every order placed on shop.allamarone.com. Please read them before completing your purchase. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who you are buying from

All’Amarone, San Polo 1131, 30125 Venice, Italy. VAT number IT04142720277. You can reach us at info@allamarone.com or on +39 338 810 8171.

2. Age restriction

We sell alcoholic beverages. By placing an order you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence and in the country of delivery. We may refuse or cancel any order where we have reason to doubt this, and the courier may ask for proof of age on delivery.

3. How the contract is formed

Adding wine to your basket and paying places an order, not a contract. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. If a wine turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will tell you and refund that line in full.

4. Wines, vintages and availability

Our stock changes constantly and some wines exist in very small quantities. Where a vintage sells out between your order and our despatch, we will contact you before sending anything and offer either the closest available vintage or a refund. We never substitute a different wine without asking you first.

Bottle photographs are indicative. Labels, capsules and vintages can differ from the image shown, particularly on older bottles.

5. Prices, VAT and duties

Prices are shown in euro. Italian VAT is applied where it is due and is calculated at checkout, so the amount you approve before paying is the amount you pay us.

For deliveries to the United States, customs duties on our wine shipments, including the current 15% tariff, are paid by us.

For deliveries to any other country outside the European Union, import duties, taxes and customs charges are not included and are payable by you to the carrier or the customs authority of the destination country. We cannot predict these amounts and we cannot refund an order that is refused or abandoned because of them.

6. Payment

We accept credit and debit cards, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your order is prepared once payment is confirmed.

7. Shipping and delivery

We ship from our enoteca in Venice by tracked express courier, to the countries listed at checkout. Within Italy, shipping is free on orders over 99 euro. Within the European Union it is free on orders over 300 euro to Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, Austria and Denmark, and over 400 euro to the other member states. For every other destination the cost is calculated at checkout from the weight of the parcel and is shown to you before you pay.

Counting working days from the day the parcel leaves Venice, delivery takes 3 working days within Italy, 10 to 12 working days within Europe, about 21 working days to the United States, and about 14 working days plus local customs to other international destinations. These are estimates and not guaranteed dates. We despatch in insulated packaging and we do hold shipments back during extreme heat or frost to protect the wine, and we will tell you when we do.

Someone aged 18 or over must be present to sign for the delivery.

8. Breakage and wines that arrive faulty

Check your parcel on arrival. If a bottle is broken or the box is visibly damaged, note it on the courier’s delivery record where you can, and tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs of the packaging and the bottles. We will replace or refund the affected bottles.

Wine is a natural product. If a bottle is corked or otherwise faulty, contact us within 14 days of delivery, keep at least three quarters of the contents and the cork, and we will agree a replacement or a refund with you.

9. Right of withdrawal

If you are buying as a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Tell us at info@allamarone.com within that period, then return the wine to us within a further 14 days.

Bottles must come back unopened, undamaged, with their labels and capsules intact and in a condition fit for resale. You pay the cost of returning them, and you are responsible for the wine until it reaches us, so please pack it properly and use a tracked service. We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method you used.

This right does not apply to bottles opened after delivery, nor to wines produced or sourced specifically to your instructions.

10. Cancelling before despatch

If you change your mind before we have despatched your order, write to us and we will cancel and refund it in full.

11. Your data

We use your data to process and deliver your order and to provide support. How we handle it is set out in our privacy and cookie policy, which is a separate document from these terms.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence. For everyone else, the courts of Venice have jurisdiction.

Consumers in the European Union may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on this page at the moment you place your order.
