Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva “Ravazzòl” by Ca’ la Bionda
Indulge in the exquisite taste of Ca’ la Bionda’s Amarone della Valpolicella Docg Classico Riserva 2013, a blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella e Molinara grapes from the historic Valpolicella Classico region. Grown in the Ravazzol hill’s vineyards, at an altitude ranging from 200 to 300 meters above sea level, the vines are aged between 50 to 70 years and produce a limited yield of 50-60 quintals per hectare.
The limestone-clay soil, with good presence of rocks and stones, adds to the wine’s freshness and elegance, making it ideal for aging. The grapes are harvested from the last decade of September until the end of October when optimal maturation and high acidity levels coincide, producing a vintage worth reserving.
The wine is fermented in a 5000-liter oak cask with natural yeasts and undergoes skin maceration for approximately 60 days. It is then aged for 8 years in a 2000 or 3000-liter oak barrel, resulting in a wine with remarkable elegance and finesse, characteristic of a great Amarone.
Experience the pleasure of Ca’ la Bionda’s Amarone della Valpolicella Docg Classico Riserva 2013 with its notes of ripe fruits, spices, and chocolate, and a long-lasting finish. A wine that will impress even the most discerning palates.
