In great contrast to the previous year this was, at the time, the hottest summer ever recorded in the region. This was largely good news for the prize vineyards at the highest altitudes, but further down the valley slopes, where the heat and humidity were more intense, some vines suffered. Overall the wines were rather good, though few will have made it to the present day in peak condition owing to over-ripeness and a relative lack of acidity.

Great experience - my wife and I went to the wine shop and asked about the tasting - they brought us to the tasting room in the back and we have a very fun and informative wine tasting! Small bites and a couple of great wine flights - would do again!
Incredibly helpful and generous staff. Had half an hour due to work obligations and wanted to enjoy some Amarone. Lady behind the counter engaged me with no snobbery or disdain for my acknowledgement of looking for accessible wines. Will visit again...if I get the chance!
I stopped in here with very little Italian wine knowledge. I left with a great experience, lots of helpful information, and a souvenir to bring home. There is a wine tasting room and a bottle shop. I did a tasting and then bought a bottle of my favorite to take home. Great spot, staff was super engaging and helpful. Thanks!
A grand wine store who ships internationally at a reasonable price. A great selection of wine with an emphasis on the Amarone varietal. They have a very nicely selected wine tasting in the attached restaurant. Highly recommended wine tasting and the food also is worth a trip back for dinner. Will be returning here in the future for sure and will be shopping in their online store in the meantime.
