About Villa Spinosa

Villa Spinosa Winery is set on the elevated lands of Jago, near Negrar, at the base of the picturesque Colle Masua hill, producing authentic traditional wines of Valpolicella.

The estate combines historic charm with modern hospitality, offering renovated farmhouses converted into wine cellars, guest accommodations, and spaces perfect for guided tastings, tours, events, and weddings. Central to the property is a graceful 19th-century villa complemented by an Italian-style garden blending geometric pathways with lush Mediterranean plants, exotic blooms, and citrus trees, all framed by the scenic vistas of Valpolicella.

The vineyards, Jago, Figari, and Costa del Buso, are among the area's most prestigious cru sites, each expressing distinct characteristics shaped by their unique microclimates, soil types, and expert viticultural practices. Villa Spinosa cultivates exclusively local grape varieties, enhancing the natural features of each vineyard.

Villa Spinosa’s dedicated team combines passion and professional expertise, supported by expert consultants, bringing a dream into a vibrant cultural and commercial reality. The winery stands as a dynamic symbol of innovation while honoring Valpolicella's deep-rooted wine traditions.

Architecturally, the Villa itself reflects a classical elegance with its symmetrical design and refined stone detailing, exemplifying the sophisticated aesthetic of the 19th-century Veneto region. The carefully restored outbuildings, once essential for farming operations, now house modern production facilities, preserving their historical integrity and charm.

The meticulous vineyard management and attentive winemaking processes ensure that each bottle reflects the authenticity of its origin. The cellar practices include separate harvesting, fermentation, and aging for each vineyard, allowing wines such as the renowned Amarone Guglielmi di Jago, aged up to 20 years, and the aromatic Figari Valpolicella Classico Superiore to mature and reveal their true character.

Villa Spinosa invites guests to savor the elegance of Valpolicella, appreciating wines deeply connected to their land and nurtured with thoughtful care.
