Giovanni Dindo
Wines by Dindo
In the hills of Fumane, within Valpolicella Classica, the landscape unfolds across small valleys and ridges where vineyard work has long been part of daily life. Dindo belongs to this setting, rooted in a place where altitude, exposure and soil come together to shape wines with structure and clarity.
The origins of the winery date back to the 1960s, when Giovanni Dindo established the estate, guided by a strong connection to the land and a clear intention to produce wines that would reflect the character of Valpolicella. Over time, this work has continued across generations, maintaining a consistent family presence in both vineyard and cellar.
The vineyards extend over a limited surface on the hills of Monte Sant’Urbano, in a position that benefits from favourable climatic conditions and well-balanced soils. These elements support a gradual ripening of the grapes, forming the basis for wines with both structure and ageing potential.
Production remains focused and carefully managed, with direct supervision of every stage, from cultivation to vinification. The wines follow the classic path of the denomination, including Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto, all shaped by a combination of traditional practice and attentive work in the vineyard.
Today, Dindo presents a grounded interpretation of Valpolicella, built on continuity, family involvement and a steady commitment to wines that remain closely linked to their place of origin.
